Pet care experience
My job is to make your life easier and less stressful when caring for your babies. I try and follow schedules and routines as closely as I can as well as give lots of extra love and sometimes extra walks or extra playing since it’s hard when their people are away. Whether it’s a busy day or you have less help than usual to being gone for any reason or maybe even if it’s just that you’re baby dog needs to go for a walk and you don’t want to take them out in the rain....again..., I would love to be the one to do the job! From growing up with various pets of fish, rodents, reptiles, birds, cats and dogs, to pet sitting of all the same for friends family coworkers and clients, I’ve had a lot of various levels of experience with the precious babies that are our pets. I’m also a massage therapist since 2006, as well as a reiki practitioner. I literally can’t help myself from giving lots of fuzzy baby massage to the ones who allow it! I easily respect the space of the rare ones who don’t like it. Being somewhat new to the area I need to find new babies big and small to help take care of. With the traveling we used to and sometimes still do we decided to not have pets of our own until we have our own home when we can be more settled. Well, that was the case until our very special kitty showed up and decided we were it for her! I still like to give and get pet love in caring for others babes. I can administer medications if that is something needed as well. Thanks for taking a minute to see if I could help you and your pet babie(s). Alana was amazing with our dog Jaxx, he’s a big guy and is very dramatic and she handled him like a true professional! If you’re fur child is iffy with new people, they will warm up quick and be in great hands with Alana.
Alana is super aware and always concerned for the dogs wellbeing. She watches Voovoo whenever we go away on trips and he loves it! Gets more walks and more attention than when we’re home! 😁😁😁
Alana was great with our little Millie, a new only 4 mos old Havanese puppy. She cared for her as if she were her own! Walking, brushing, playing and cuddling! Pictures were sent multiples times per day which we loved seeing! Our house was immaculate when we returned home after 8 days away. We very much love and appreciate Alana and she will definitely be the first one we contact! Thank you, Alana!
Alana took the time to gain our dog's trust! (Not a trivial task) She bonded with him and made him feel comfortable from the first day. Will use Alana again for sure!!!

I don’t have a preference on any particular breed. They’re all special and lovable! It’s important to know their personality and that includes good and any not so pleasant habits or behaviors, so I can be respectful of your rules and their boundaries. The things they like or don’t like, medications, and schedules, do they like or get along with other animals or people. If there have been any recent health issues or changes to their environment or routine including food or treat changes. If I need to administer medication by injection, I need you to demo how you specifically do it. I’ll need instructions for any medication or supplement I’ll be administering. I’ll need to have your vet information as well as an emergency contact who can make medical decisions on behalf of your babies should you be unreachable in the event of them needing medical attention.
A typical day
Whatever you’re regular routine includes and/ or you are comfortable with. Play with toys or me( I like to get on the ground and snuggle or play with the furrys sometimes)! Walks(rain or shine), hikes, games, tricks, light grooming, parks or sometimes ride alongs if they like to. If heavier grooming or bathing is needed or wanted, I'm more than willing to for an additional fee(please see my other services to add that to your booking)
