Pet care experience
Hello, My name is Alana. I am a teacher who currently works as a nanny. I spend my days with two little humans and their sweet pup. While, sadly, I don't have my own dog right now, I grew up always having a dog. I understand how much they are a part of the family. I do have a very sweet cat named Rahlee, who is 11 years old and full of personality. I would love to have a dog right now, but I don't want to disrupt Rahlee's "dog free" life. I will definitely have a dog in the future! I live in Ypsilanti but work in Ann Arbor, and know both areas pretty well. I look forward to working with you and caring for your pets!

Alana went above and beyond our expectations. She gave me peace of mind that my babies were well taken care of while we were gone. She is amazing with animals and is extremely friendly. We absolutely loved her and will definitely book her again for future appointments. Highly recommended.
Alana is absolutely WONDERFUL! There is nothing negative to say about our experience at all. She was timely, every visit. She took extra time for cuddles with our kittens (and I KNOW they appreciated that). She was responsible and respectful and I felt so relieved with her taking care of our animals. She sent photos and detailed check-in reports to keep us updated on how everything was going. I will DEFINITELY use her again, and I recommend her any pet-sitting job out there, because I know that she will go above and beyond, like she did for us!
Alana has been amazing to work with! I was skeptical about using Rover at first, but Alana definitely confirmed it was the right choice. She was available last minute, left awesome check-in photos and summaries, and left all our animals happy! Would definitely recommend!
This was our first time using Rover, and we had an awesome experience with Alana! She was able to watch Vince last minute when our dog sitter canceled last minute. Alana took Vince for walks and snuggled with him on his favorite couch. We received updated pictures of Vince and had open communication daily with Alana while we were away for the weekend. We will ask Alana to watch Vince from now on! Thanks Alana!

I typically work Monday through Friday, so most of my availability will be during the evening hours and weekends. I occasionally will have afternoons free for pet care.
