~Pet Care Experience & Introduction Hi, my name is Alana and I'm a college student. I have 9 years of experience watching dogs & cats. Please read the entire bio & rates before booking/messaging to see if we are a good fit :) I like to set up a video meet & greet to make sure we're a good fit, answer any questions you may have, and for safety reasons, confirm identities through video-chat before booking a stay. I take notes on all of your dog/cat's information before confirming/booking services. I have the following experience of caring for dogs & cats; - senior pets with joint issues - diabetes & underlying health issues - oral medication administration - injected medication administration - exotic animal/other... just not snakes. - photo & video updates everyday while your babies are in my care. - dogs of all sizes & I’m comfortable with any size dog. - rescue kittens/dogs - late night potty breaks - early walks to avoid the heat (pending weather) - special needs pups (blind, deaf, neurological disorders, etc) - separation anxiety - I will treat your pet with love, make them feel safe and at home, and give them all the attention they need. I have a lot of patience and will do whatever is necessary for your fur baby! I have also watched cats with many different behaviors & personalities as well as special needs. I work out frequently and would enjoy exercising your loved one. Your pets are like children to me, therefore I keep an eye on them when they’re in my presence at all times. Communication is very important to me, so I like to respond to any message or phone call you have within an hour but usually under 10 minutes. If I do not respond right away, I am most likely not by my phone & will respond as soon as I see your message. I am open to discussing the price range and adjusting it to a reasonable price at my discretion based on location of your home, your baby’s needs, extra things you would like me to do, and your overall budget. ~Environment When I’m watching your pups in your home, I treat them as if they are my own. In the event that I’m watching them in your home, I can do extra things for you if needed, such as watering plants or bringing in the mail. I always keep the house clean that I’m staying in & I will always discuss any safety needs or questions that you have regarding doggy doors, backyard fences, sliding glass doors, keeping the pool closed off if you have one, keeping bathroom doors closed, back doors, doggy doors, medication administration, etc. I let the pups I watch roam freely at all times, but if you are currently crate training & prefer that they stay in their crate while I’m gone, I will adhere to your preferences.

~Important Information Some important information to know about your dog ahead of time is if they need any medication administration, crate training, if they have any separation anxiety, if they’re an escape artist, their feeding schedule, water intake, any of their common behaviors and any other things that they may need before their stay.
A typical day
~Typical Day I exercise a lot, so if your pup loves to go on runs I’d be happy to bring them along! At night I always let your pup sleep in the bed with me and I let them on the couch but if you prefer that they don’t, I will adhere to the rules that you put in place!
