Before a dog can like you, you have to earn its trust and respect. It is essential for me to establish mutual trust and respect with every dog entrusted to my care. A dog should be given the same care and attention given a child. Over the last twenty years, in addition to my own dogs, I have cared for other people's dogs, treating each one as if it were my own. In the last year alone, I have cared for sixty different puppies. I have 130 acres of secluded fields, woods, brook and a pond to romp. It is a source of pride, that within 2-3 days, I have been able to allow 95% of the dogs I have cared for to romp on our walks off a leash. A well behaved, socialized, loved, nourished and exercised dog is a happy dog. Dogs in my care usually return home tired, happy and content, are more obedient, and in better physical shape than when they arrived. I jokingly refer to myself as a dog whisperer. Every dog deserves to feel as loved, as much as they love, and I love dogs!
