Since I was born, we have always had dogs and cats as part of our family household and to this day I absolutely love anything to do with animals- especially cats- but dogs too of course!! Having pets has taught me the respect and care every animal deserves and I am so excited to be working for Rover to give my clients ease and trust that I will provide the best dog walking/sitting services I can and treat their animals with the upmost quality love and care. I love taking my clients dogs on long, safe walks and I also spend as much time as I can with the indoor pets as well!! My experiences include 4 years as a dog walker in my neighborhood, and also being the owner of a 115 pound Bernese Mountain dog and 2 loving cats. Even though I am a student, I have a very flexible schedule and can work within your specific needs if given prior notice. Alan has taken care of my dog and 2 cats for over a week now and I am very pleased with his services. He always updates me on the app after he checked in on them, which gives me ease while I am at work. He is great with my animals.
Alan took care of my two dogs and cat for over a week while we were gone on vacation. He sent us updates twice a day, pictures of our dogs having fun, and even brought extra treats for both my dogs and cat! He spent extra time with my animals, which is very kind of him, and went above and beyond what I had asked of him. He really cares about my animals and I am setting him up to take care of them next month when we go out of town again.

Before sitting the dog, my most important thing is safety. Is the dog happy to meet new people? Should I be aware that he may be protective when I enter the household? I appreciate it when I am made aware of these things for my own safety, but aggressive dogs are only aggressive when there is a threat- so hopefully he will remember me after the first visit and there will be no problems! :)
A typical day
On an average visit, I will take him/her on a long walk (not too long if the pavement is too hot) and also run with him in the backyard for exercise! Upon the parents approval, I sometimes even enjoy taking them on a trip to Sequiota Park to walk the beautiful trails! I have a strong grip for the most energetic larger dogs, and have experience handling dogs who like to run while on the leash- the dog won’t get loose on my watch!
