Pet care experience
I love dogs of all breeds! I grew up with dogs and now, my wife and I have two Golden Retrievers that rule our hearts and run our home. Due to my extensive experience with dogs, I can provide your pets the same level of care and attention that you give them when you are home. You can go on vacation knowing that your dogs will be safe and happy. I'm also happy to provide pictures on updates via text, so that you aren't missing out. I work from home, so my availability for drop ins is very flexible. I can start as early as 5am and do a last visit around 8pm. On a visit, I will feed, water and play with your dogs. If you need indoor plant watering, the mail brought in, the trash can taken to the curb on garbage day or the lights alternated, please just let me know what your preferences are. Let me take the worry out of leaving your pet and home, while you are away. Your pets will be in good hands! I can administer oral medication, if required.

I am so happy to see that Alan is reaching out to the public to offer his amazing experience with pets. Alan has watched various incarnations of my pets over the past 10 years and I cannot say enough good things about his way with dogs, and the odd cat (yep a really odd cat). From a shelter dog who was terrified of his own shadow, as well as those of everyone else, to an older dog who had the energy to light up a room with his antics. All my pets have taken right to Alan, and he to them, granting me more than just peace of mind while I have been gone on business or vacation, but also the knowledge that my kiddos know that they are in the best of hands just as if I was with them.
Alan watched my 2 dogs and 4 cats for an entire month while my family went on vacation out of state. I was very nervous leaving the critters for so long but there were no problems and the guys loved him. No one quit eating or forgot their "house training". He made 3 trips to the house daily and even spent time brushing both the dogs. I anticipate using Alan's service for years to come.

What are their feeding habits (free-fed, vs. set mealtimes). Is the dog a potential runner (so that I can take precautions when coming in the front door). Does he/she have issues with loud noises like lightning or thunder? If there are multiple pets in the home, how do they interact with each other? Basically, I'd like to know how to make their time with me as positive and relaxed as possible. How can I help your pet(s) during your absence? I am open to all non-aggressive breeds, but love all breeds. Chihuahuas and Golden Retrievers are the breeds I've had the most experience with.
