Hi, I'm Alan & for 17 years I had my own 2 beautiful dogs, a border terrier raised from a puppy and a 2yr old rescue Collie/Staff from Battersea both of which I walked at Lesnes Abbey, Bostall & Oxleas woods. Sadly, later one needed a special diet & medication & the other needed end of life care, but both enjoyed a full and active life. Now I provide Doggie Day Care & Boarding for dogs but normally only one at a time unless they're raised together, the owners agree or the dogs get along. All dogs have my complete care & attention & are never left alone. As I’m at home all day we'll play tug & ball in my enclosed garden or spacious through lounge, take walks through local parks & woods, or relax together on the sofa. Dogs love to explore my garden & can relieve themselves at their leisure being let outside whenever they want to, but especially first thing in the morning & at night before bedtime. Puppies are of coursed welcomed & watched over. Dog commands are reinforced & playtime is enhanced through exploration. But all dogs have fun! Daily walks for most dogs are in the mornings, late afternoons & evenings around the local area, with sometimes a leisurely afternoon walk up to 2 hrs around the park or woods (with a rest break mainly for me), up to my parents 20 mins away, or short walks dependant on their needs & the weather. On walks smaller, shy or anxious dogs will be kept away from any dogs percieved as dangerous, but socialisation is encouraged dependant on their character. Your dog will never be let off it's lead outside so you can be sure it's safe in my charge. Dogs can sleep in my bedroom (all have so far) or on my bed which helps with any separation anxiety. Your dog will get lots of play, cuddles & attention & you'll receive many photos & videos to reassure you throughout the day or sent whenever is convenient to you. If your dog is on a special diet, medication, exercise regime or requires grooming it will of course be followed as instructed.
