Pet care experience
Hi! I grew up caring for our three family dogs, my horse, and worked on farms with a wide variety of livestock. I did extensive animal-sitting in my previous town and I’m hoping to continue that here—I’m comfortable with anything from small hobby farms with a variety of livestock to your regular dog-walking gig. I’m comfortable with special needs (behavior/giving meds/senior animal considerations) and truly love to be with the animals.

Alaina was great! We have found our new cat sitter! She stayed overnight, took excellent care of and gave plenty of attention to my 3 kitties. She was very respectful, reliable, professional and responsible. You wont go wrong and you will rest easy with Alaina!

I really appreciate great communication and clear directions/expectations for animal behavior and training. I will be a a calm, loving friend to your pet, whether that be feeding and crating, letting them out for a quick break, or taking them out for some exercise. Also—I will send you so many cute pictures of your pets!!

A typical day
I love to explore new places with the pups. I have great access to walking trails near my house—I especially love the river, the UMaine forest, and the paths near campus.

Availability
I’m a full-time grad student with flexible hours. I’m very active and love to spend time outside, so I am very happy to exercise your pups. On the other hand, if your animal just needs a buddy at home, I can do my schoolwork anywhere with access to wifi. I’m most available Tuesday and Thursday after 11, Fridays, and weekends with advance notice.
