Hi, my name is Alaina, I am 23 years old and would love to take care of your pets. I have experience working in a Veterinary hospital and i currently work at a veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital. I have had many animals of my own and currently have a Husky/Akita mix named Haka, a German Shepherd named Oakley, and a cat named Luna. I am confident that your pet will be well taken care of and it will receive unconditional love while you are away. I also know how to care for animals that need medications or special attention. Alaina was terrific. Our 15 month old female boxer Abby seemed to have a wonderful time. Alaina's home is on the Potomac River, so it was a real treat for our dog. Alaina's dad was also involved with Abby and she got to ride with him in his SUV. Alaina was most responsive in arranging for delivery and pick up of Abby.
Alaina did a great job. Highly recommend her!

I care for my pets by waking up in the morning and letting them all go outside. When they come back inside I feed them, give Haka his oral medications and one of his eye drops. I have to wait 30 min to put the next drops in his eyes which I do 4x a day. I also usually come home on my lunch break to let them back out and give Haka more meds. When I get home from work I take them outside and let them run around and play. Before I go to bed I give Haka is last round of meds for the day and make sure they have food and water before going to sleep.

I feel like I should know if a dog is reactive in anyway like to dogs or strangers etc. I should also know if the dog has any health conditions or needs any medications or if the dog has any allergies to any kinds of food or treats.
A typical day
I enjoy taking my pups to the dog park even though my dog Haka is blind now. Haka still enjoys going on adventures he just has to stay on the leash now.:) I also love taking them on east hikes in the mountains

Availability
My daily/weekly routine is pretty much constantly taking care of animals. I have 3 animals at home that I love very much and my dog Haka has a very rare autoimmune disease that needs lots of special attention and medications. When I am not at home caring for my animals I am at work treating other peoples pets:)
