Pet care experience
Growing up, I have always been surrounded by pets. As a young child I had an adorable golden retriever named Sammie, and 3 precious cats. Since then, a few things have changed. I recently moved from the states where I did Rover part-time for 3 years and am now working towards my master's degree. At home, my family has a cat named Sarabi and a Bernedoodle named Aspen. Some of my favorite things to do with my family dog is taking her to the local trails for long adventurous walks. My previous Rover experience includes everything from boarding dogs at my home, house sitting, dog walking, and doing drop in visits to give the animals some love and attention while their owners were at work. Now that I rent, I currently only offer house sitting.

Alaina took such great care of my pups! They are nervous nellies around new people but took to Alaina quickly and became inseparable by the end of the weekend! She took great care of our home as well - would recommend to anyone looking for an in-home pet sitter!

Alaina took great care of my pup. She came to meet him beforehand which was much appreciated. She’s very responsive and would send updates (and plenty of pics) throughout the day. Very responsible and I would trust my pup with her again.

When I take care of animals, I make sure that their needs are set into my daily schedule in order to set aside the time and attention that they need from me. Before leaving your home, I will do a walk around the house to check if there is anything out that they could potentially get into and to see if they have their necessities!

Any facts and information on your dog is beneficial to me! Some helpful questions I like to ask are how do they act on a leash/walk, how often do they go outside, do they have any specific quirks I should know about, etc.
A typical day
When your dog stays with me, they will always have fun! When the weather is nice, we will spend time outside doing their favorite activities ranging from walks or trips to the dog park. The fun doesn’t stop there. We will also have playtime inside with toys and there will be lots of belly rubs.

Availability
I am currently completing my Master's in marketing at Queen Mary University and am working on my dissertation independently during the summer, so I do not have to go in for classes. I have a fairly relaxed day-to-day schedule. I have a set morning and night routine, which I incorporate the pet's routine into when watching them, and I enjoy getting daily exercise in through walks.
