Living in Barnes, it’s an incredibly green, calming and pet friendly area! My private flat with a fenced garden is just a one-minute walk to nearby areas such as Harrods Village, Castelnau Conservation Area, the Wetland Centre in Barnes village and Leg o’ Mutton reservoir, to name a few. These are very leafy, lovely and serene areas - very calm and gentle for your pets. I am also very nearby to Hammersmith Bridge which is ideal for dog walks along the riverbank.

A typical day
I provide a range of fun and stimulating games and exercises to keep your pet physically and mentally engaged. There is a nearby private park, accessible only by residents, that I go to regularly. I always like to schedule a meet and greet ahead of the booking because I think it’s so important for you to get to know me and for us to discuss your pet’s needs, including their routines, likes and dislikes, meal times, how long their walks are and getting to know their characters. (Or alternatively how you like your home run for house sits.) I clean and maintain your premises to the highest standard, providing you with regular updates including photos to make sure you feel reassured your pet is having a good time. Being an artist I also like to leave a little drawing at the end of the stay (if you wish).

Hi there! Welcome to my profile, and thank you for stopping by. My name is Alain - I live in Barnes and I love dogs and cats! I was born and raised in the Surrey countryside and I have looked after animals most of my life; we had plenty of pets of all shapes and sizes! Dogs, cats and even a goldfish named Fred. 🐶🐱🐠 For me pets lift a space and I look after them for the sheer love of it. They are not just a pet, they are a family member. I also house sit and look after many lovely homes in London and Surrey such as Cobham, Oxshott, Richmond, Barnes, South Kensington, Holland Park, Mortlake, Kew, Putney, Woking, Marylebone, Old Windsor, Pains Hill, Chiswick and many more. I show my respect by maintaining the beautiful standards of your premises, cleaning and maintaining the upkeep of the house. I always make sure to keep you updated, and that your pets are happy and comfortable during a stay, sending photos and updating you while you’re away. Alain was great with Buddy while we were away. Buddy is big and not always easy to manage but they bonded beautifully. Alain also looked after our house with great care and kept it spotless. We will always come back to Alain when we go away and strongly recommend him.
Alain looked after my dog Sam and my flat very well
As always our dog Heidi was visibly comfortable and well looked after - somehow Alain even managed to get her energy burned off before we picked her up which made for a nice relaxed afternoon back at home! Thank you Alain :)
