Pet care experience
Hey guys! My name is Al and I live around Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax, VA. I have had dogs all my life and have lots of experience taking care of them. I ran a cage free boarding facility for almost 10 years on our family's farmland in fairfax, and bring that experience and expertise to caring for your dog in my own home. We live in a townhouse surrounded by nice open areas and walking paths, so we spend lots of time outside. Me and my girlfriend both work from home, so I am able to be home almost all the time to make sure the dogs have constant supervision. They have free roam inside the house, and we have no problem with them sleeping or hanging out on the couches. In addition I can be very flexible in terms of pick up an drop off. Occasionally we like to walk/drive ( depending on the weather) the dogs over to our family's property, that has 2 acres of fenced land, and let the dogs have a blast running around. Both of our dogs grew up at our boarding facility and are very accustomed to all kinds of dogs. They both love the company, and making new friends to play with. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, communicative, and reliable pet-sitter, look no further! I am new to Rover, and this is only my second time boarding my two pups, both of whom are flight risks. After a meet-and-greet with my pups and Al’s, Al put my mind at ease. He is highly experienced; has countless long-term clients; and knows how to handle all breeds, ages, and temperaments. When I told him that I was a little concerned about my dogs on walks because they’re flight risks, he immediately assuaged my concerns, stressing how much care he takes while walking clients’ dogs. He was also totally fine with giving my dogs canned pumpkin with their breakfast and charging their GPSes on their collars during their recent stay. I cannot recommend Al enough!
We have used Al three times now and I am very happy with him.
Al is great and I never have to worry when I need to go out of town and can't bring my senior dog along. Al expertly handles all of my dog's needs and medications and provides frequent update on how they are doing. I've used Al's service twice now and hope he will be available for any future boarding I will need in the future! Thanks!
