Hello everyone, I am Al. Your friendly neighborhood pet sitter and trainer living in Prenzlauerberg for over 2 years now. I can speak English, and a bit off German too :)  I started pet caring as doing favors to my friends long time ago and fell in love with it. I love all animals of all kinds. Over the years I dedicated myself in learning how to take care of pets and how to train them. I am a high energy, easy going, and a very patient pet carer, sitter, and trainer. I can describe myself as an animal activist and had been volunteered in many dog shelters in 3rd world countries. I have a wide range of experience in taking care of pets. I know the city of Berlin in detail and love parks and walking dogs in this beautiful city. I care for all pets like my own and If I see that I for some reason will not be able to give the best service for you and your pet I will not accept the booking. I am always open and honest and I like giving regular updates too :) WALKS  I accept all sized dogs including huge dogs for dog walking. Being a big guy myself I can handle all sized dogs. I  can go for long walks two times a day or more. Unlike others, I prefer to have close to 1 hour walks plus if agreed the commotion of taking your pet and bringing it back to you or your house. I believe over 30 minutes is sometimes not enough for exercise and we would want your pet to have the best exercise and play time. I really like walking dogs in the park. One of my favorite park is a not so crowded park behind planetarium close to my home and also Volkspark Friedrichshains. I have flexible hours in taking care of all your needs.  HOUSE SITTING I can do house sitting for all sized dogs and had been doing for many of my clients. I will make sure your pet have everything they need and also keep the house tidy and clean.  If you are interested, please contact me we can meet and have a cup of coffee. If you prefer, I can share references too :) HOME BOARDING and DOGGY DAY CARE I CAN ONLY ACCEPTS SMALL SIZED DOGS (less thatn 10kg) for home boarding and depending on the situation I can spend the whole day, overnight or a few hours with your pet. I am a freelancer who is working from home. I am also living by myself with no housemates or pets. Small Pets can stay overnight. If you are not too far away from my address, I can come over to your address to take over your pet. I have a terrace and access to a small garden. Please contact me if you would like me to take care of your pet for a day or an hour or overnight. I kindly ask you not to please double book and waste my time. Looking forward to meeting you and taking care of your pets :)  Stories behind the Photos  PIC 1 The beautiful Akita called Samu that I have babysitted for a month. He was very friendly and energetic. With enough exercise he was easy to handle. Still miss him sometimes :) PIC 2 Little Snow which I have babysitted over the weekend. I met the owner in S bahn and she needed somebody to take of Snow for the weekend. Snow was really calm and friendly. Very easy to babysit. PIC 3 The enchanting Husky that I have met in Pankow called Lara. She was one of the most energetic dog that I have met, over the week I have babysit her she made lose 2 kilos :) PIC 4 Took Rex to a barbecue for the day. Rex was a friends dog that I had for a day. He was a sweetheart. PIC 5 I have house sitted a clients house and took care of this nice and calm Canadian Shepard mix called Ice. PIC 6 Mimi, one of my regulars, >34kg Bearded collie and Labrador mix. Needed a lot of exercise and some direction and obedience training around food. Although she is older than 3 she improved considerably in a short time after strict training. PIC 7 Yoda the Yorkshire terrier who stayed with me for 5 days. We had a great time together, he was calm and very well mannered. He listened all my instructions. PIC 8 Ceaser the lab&golden retriever mix. I am walking Ceaser regularly; he needs to exercise more but he is a very smart boy :) PIC 9 Hudson is one of the sweetest little things ever and also listens directions very well.
