Hello! I'm Anna, a 24 year old graduate and I have been raising cats since I was 8 years old and a dog since I was 13. I am very passionate and knowledgeable about cats and dogs, particularly cats. I know: - What your pet generally needs to stay happy and healthy (please feel free to let me know of any special needs!) - Which toxic foods to avoid for cats AND dogs - How to calm stressed/fighting animals - How to engage pets to play - How to handle skittish/shy animals - How to update owners about their pets via any form of social media and texting apps if needed (Instagram, FB, Twitter, iMessage/pic messaging, Whatsapp, etc) - How to administer oral medication I am also willing to provide the following additional services: • Bathing - Full bath & blow-dry for dogs - Dander reducing wipe “bath”* for cats • Brushing (coat and/or teeth) • Car rides with the window down a safe amount - I know some dogs love it! • Giving medication (oral medication only, sorry!) • De-shedding with FURminator (small) • Full Service: Bath, coat, and teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and tear/eye area cleaning. Plus pets and treats after of course. • Reading to your pet (FREE) These services can be provided at an additional cost based on the main service required. * Full baths are generally not necessary for cats as they clean themselves with their tongues. Most cats find the experience very stressful and shampoo may irritate their skin. However, damp dander-reducing wipes made specifically for cats may be used to groom cats to reduce allergy symptoms and shedding. Most importantly, I am very patient and gentle with animals and value their safety and comfort above all. I truly adore animals (more than people sometimes if I'm being honest haha) and I am looking forward to meeting your sweet fur babies! ♡

Akzana is the epitome of an animal person, who cares dearly for all animals, from cats and dogs, to lizards and salamanders. She strives to make any animal she comes across with to be happy at all times and to feel comfortable. Akzana has several pets of her own, including a wonderful dog, whom she cares for deeply, ensuring their happiness is top priority. I have a dog of my own and every time she comes to visit us, my dog rushes to greet her with his tail wagging as if she's the love of his life. I will also need to know about any aggression triggers, allergies, health concerns, other emotional triggers (eg. extreme fear of thunderstorms or vacuums), etc. to ensure your pet is as comfortable as possible in my care.
A typical day
I have a large fenced backyard near Square One for breaks at any time. I am also within walking distance to 2 parks. I have a 11 year old female Bichon/Yorkie mix if your small to medium dog loves play dates as well! Lastly, I have an assortment of dog and cat toys for your pets if needed, high quality, grain-free treats (only fed to your pet with prior consent from you), and a charcoal-filtered water fountain for your pet to drink from.
