Dog trainer as a bonus
Pet care experience
I was the kid who always brought home the strays. I'm a certified ABC dog trainer. Have worked in the field for 5 years. Spend my free time volunteering at shelters. Can handle any size dog. My house has a beautiful walking trail nearby and we have a partially fenced in yard. Cats have their own room so not an issue. My dog is motherly and friendly and loves making other dogs feel at home. I can apply basic training to walks and make recommendations to owners who request help for their dogs. I will do as asked to make your dogs feel comfortable, I have no rules for your dog unless specified. Willing to care for other household pets too as I have had experience from Petco.

Akshi was a great sitter and our Maltese/Shih Tzu mix, Nico, loved his stay!! Akshi was flexible and her communication was excellent. We received multiple updates and pictures during Nico’s stay. When we brought our boy home he slept all day as he was tuckered out from all the fun of his sleepover. Highly recommend!!

We have no specific rules other than don’t eat human food, don’t go potty inside and chasing the cats. I will follow exact instructions on how to care for your dog before they board.

Any allergies, if they are crate trained and any dislikes. How they prefer to eat their food. Basic daily schedule written down on a paper. Food or toy aggression and if they are able to hop over 5 ft fences. All boarders will have to be sent with detailed instructions on their daily schedule and food measurements. All food boxes must be labeled with sags name and family last name. You can bring their beds and food bowls so they feel somewhat at home. Be specific for drop off and pick up timings. All meet and greets for boarders need to be done at our home with your dog on a leash.
A typical day
We love long walks and exploring the backyard, we play with the ball on a pole and really just enjoying other boarders company. By the time they are done playing they are exhausted. If there are no other dogs we go on hiking trails as long as they are ok with walking long distance or if permitted, go to the nearest local dog park.

Availability
I’m home most of the day unless I have to train classes, errands or doctors appointments or have to take my kid to after school activities. I train dogs in the evenings and weekends for a couple hours. If I leave for a few hours, all boarders are separated and watched on live cameras. Most of the time they are so tired from all they playing that they just sleep.
