It is a pleasure to have the honor of submitting this testimonial on behalf of Akiko Kobayashi for Rover. My relationship with Akiko spans twenty years. As her ex-husband, I am grateful that she is still part of my life. We remain good friends, which truthfully speaks to her character and good nature. Akiko and I were actively involved in the NYCares program. Through this activity, we discovered and adopted our first beagle in 2004. We pursued an addition to our family two years later and adopted our second beagle from Alexandria, VA. Our fur babies gave us great enjoyment until their separate passings many years later. Shortly after the passing of our first beagle, we adopted our first kitten. Akiko leaped further into cat ownership with the adoption of her second kitty very recently. She is a consummate caregiver and lover of animals. Her beautiful, good nature and loving concern for her pets and those she comes in contact with would make her a very qualified and ideal candidate for the Rover program. I fully recommend her and suggest that you would be remiss in overlooking her. I wish her well in this endeavor.
