Hi. I am Ajit. I love dogs and looking for dog families whom I can help with my varied dog experience and in return spend some quality time with their dog. I am a software developer by profession, but during my time with dogs I realised that I love being close to dogs, helping and training them. In future, I would like to switch my profession to become a dog trainer My experience with dogs: * I worked part-time for 2 years at an animal shelter : PAWS in Seattle, U.S.A. During that time, I underwent training and had first hand experience in dealing with shy to aggressive dogs and training them to become adoptable. * In March 2021, I worked in a Sled dogs farm with 23 Alaskan Huskies. Apart from feeding and walking, my day to day activities included Agility and Sled training, monitoring each dog's behaviour and making sure each dog got enough cuddles and had lot's of fun. The dogs age ranged from 1 year to 16 years. * Occasionally, I host my friends dogs when they are busy or need someone to look after their dogs for few weeks * Being from India, I have a lot of experience with stray dogs I work from home and my work timings are flexible. So, when you leave your dog with me, I can change my work timings depending on your dogs schedule. Dogs always first!!

Ajit was of great help taking care of our “little” Golden Retriever, Blue. He did an amazing job and I could tell Blue was feeling like home in no time. Ajit sent us daily pictures and videos of their walks and also shared regular reports. Blue had a skin infection while at Ajit’s place (non-related to his stay there, it’s a precondition he has) and Ajit was quickly to not only notice the change of Blue’s behavior, but took him to a Vet promptly. Ajit made sure Blue took his pills and even bought him a collar to prevent him from licking the wounded area. I have no words to thank Ajit for the good care and kindness he showed throughout his time with Blue. I definitely recommend Ajit’s services.

I just picked up Bob from Ajit’s home and you know that Ajit is amazing when ur dog wants to stay there, it’s a absolutely holidays for our Bob. Ajit is always our first choice for dog sitting of our weasel, he is super sweet and attentive and very flexible with time and always fast responding on messages and sending cute update photos. Thank you Ajit 🥰

A typical day
I have dog training experience. I can do Agility training with your dog. I love nature and hiking. I frequently go on hikes and can take your dog along with me. I am a very active person and depending on the dog's age, breed and health, I change the activity. E.g. If it's a high energy dog, I will run with the dog, go to a dog park, play fetch with the dog . If it's an old dog, I will go for a slow walk and let the dog just chill. I will also take the dog for a "sniff walk". I believe that sniffing around is the primary nature and highly beneficial to dogs. During the sniff walk, I let the dog sniff around and explore as much as they want and let their nose guide the route.
