Pet care experience
I have personal and professional experience with caring for animals. I have been caring for cats since the age of six, and I fell in love with dogs just recently in the last few years when my mother adopted our precious family dog Bojo. I have worked for a few animal clinics and hospitals within the states of Alaska and Nevada, and it taught me a lot about the handling of animals in the capacity that humans have to love and care about their animals. Rover gives me the the opportunity to help others by doing one of the coolest things ever: hanging out with cats and dogs and making sure they feel loved and cared for even when their parents are away 😎😁. Ajanae was amazing with my cat, Gracie, while I was away for work. Gracie is shy and uncertain of new folks but warmed up great to Ajanae. I'm sure it was her patience and all the fun playtimes that they had. If you are looking for someone to watch your pet, you can trust Ajanae to take care of them like they are her own! If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would!
Ajanae is the most wonderful cat sitter for our kitty Fig! She always leaves a detailed card with lots of great photos and it's clear Fig adores her. She's attentive to details like the temperature in the house and any potential hazards. We are so grateful for her thorough and thoughtful care 💕
Our dog Momo has become so comfortable with Ajanae. She is very detailed with her visits, which we absolutely love. Ajanae is thoughtful and caring with our dog and couldn’t ask for anything more!

I will care for your pets with the same love and kindness that I give to my own pets. I know how important regimen is to animals in the home, so I intend to follow your clear instructions to a tee. My goal ultimately is to make your pet feel as comfortable as they can even when their human is away. BOARDING: I do not do boarding in my home GROOMING: I do not provide grooming services beyond nail trims for cats who oblige. Rover doesn't have a "nail trim only" option under grooming booking so I turned off the option, however we can discuss cat nail trims further. If your cat becomes overly aggressive during the nail trim I will discontinue and there will be no charge. I supply nail trim tools (basic nail trim clippers + quip powder just in case). DOG & CAT WALKING: I will only walk one dog at a time for safety. I will not walk dogs that require a muzzle or a choker collar. Dogs must have a harness. Cats must have a stroller or a harness if you would like them walked. If you book a walking, I will only walk your pet. If you're looking for more involved services please book a drop-in visit. DROP IN'S: Cats and dogs of all ages welcome. Includes walking if requested during drop in visit (please see above information on walking). HOUSE SITTING: this is a great option if you're going out of town! House sitting services are charged per night. I define a "night" as 5pm-6am the following day, this means I spend the night at your place and leave in the morning. Pet care (a short walk, cat box, feeding/watering, etc.) is included in this fee. Available Thursday-Saturday only. I will bring my own food, toiletries and bed linens.

A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs with play, let’s break out the toys and get your fur baby active! Going on walks is another great activity I enjoy with dogs. Cats are no exception, if there are string toys, toy mice, etc. I will have a frenzy with your feline friend. If your fur baby is more on the chill side, I'm not opposed to laying around on the floor and watching TV or listening to some music and giving them belly rubs. My cats call me the best chef in town, as I am known for purrrfectly mixing their supplements into their wet food. If I am doing a drop in our house sitting stay I can make sure your furry child has food, water, treats and everything in between.

Availability
I work full-time Monday through Thursday. But I am available most times Friday-Sunday. Also if you're in my area, I could potentially do potty breaks during the work week on my afternoon break, around 3pm or so, it would just depend on the distance from my area.
