Pet care experience
My first "brother" was my Australian shepherd dog, Brer. He instilled in me a love for animals and ever since the age of 5 I've been caring for animals, from hermit crabs to rodents, to horses, cats, dogs, and even a chameleon! I had pets my whole life and currently I have one adopted fur-baby, a 5 year old 5-lb sweet little mutt. I've worked professionally for years on ranches caring for and training the horses, and the other ranch critters too. Aja is very loving and has a sixth sense with animals and they really feel safe and comfortable with her. She is also good at training horses and dogs and they tend to obey her. She is gentle and pets have a sense of trust with her.
Aja helped me care for me and my husbands adorable diva kitty miss Bella while I was in the throws of grad school, stressed that I would not be able to have the time to provide everything that is necessary in the love and care for my fur baby should completing my studies. Aja saved us. Aja took such great care of my Bella , and Bella took to her like something I have never seen in other other encounters with people. She is not just good with animals she is beyond that. She took care of her as I would have which is, in my opinion, the most important. They are still great buddies in fact! :). I could have not done it without her and Rover would be missing out and depriving these animals of an amazing, caring, loving experience under the care of my friend Aja.
Aja was the most caring and affectionate friend to my dog Baloo. When she spent time with him you could tell afterwards how happy he was to hang with her! Super responsible and does exactly what she says. Can’t recommend her more!

And please tell me the best ways to get them to respond positively-- is your pet food motivated, toy motivated, etc? Also please provide me detailed instructions about their food and harness or anything else I'll need to know for our walk time together. Thank you!
A typical day
The dogs I walk love getting a mix of light leash etiquette training and fun sniff & explore time while we are on our walks together. For safety I never remove the leash nor let go of the leash while we are on walks.
