I’m Aja and I love dogs! My two dogs and I would love to welcome your furry friend into our home. I have been a pet owner to my rescue pups, Luke and Levi, for three years and am an approved foster parent for a few rescues in Los Angeles and San Diego. The struggle of finding good, affordable pet sitters for my two dogs inspired me to become a pet sitter. It’s been such a great experience to meet new pups of unique breeds and interesting personalities. Plus, I think my dogs get bored of me sometimes and want a new friend to play with - and I am at the mercy of my dogs. I didn't discover my love for dogs until a couple years ago but now I feel like I make up with all that lost time by smothering every dog I meet with love and affection. I adore all dogs and even though my dogs are smaller poodle mixes, I have fostered a larger Pitbull who now has a family in Washington. I also fostered a few dogs through rescues in San Diego and Los Angeles, and am working with Healthy Spot to spread the word of pet adoption. One of my dogs has spent some time in the ER (unfortunately) so I'm able to administer medication if needed. Open communication and trust is very important to me and as a pet owner myself, I try to conduct business with the utmost respect, honesty, and care. As some of my human clients have already experienced, I am very quick to respond back with any questions and concerns. As a parent who uses pet sitters, I understand the need to want to check in and make sure everything is going well. We love to take videos and pictures in our household and you'll get lots of updates. And for the pups, I think what they'll love most about me are my dogs. They are full of energy and love to play so dogs who stay with us will get lots of play time. I live with my boyfriend of four years in the Arts District. We adopted our two dogs together and while he does travel a lot, when he's home he just likes to play with our boys. Our home has a dog run in the back and a dog park five minutes away. I work from home, and will walk your dogs every couple hours so we can all get some fresh air. While downtown is known to be congested, the street I live on is fairly calm. We will take a lot of walks during the day since I don't walk my dogs at night. But not to worry, we have a real grass patch in our apartment, so your dog will be comfortable until the morning. Our apartment is warm and cozy and there is a lot of room for your dog to play. Since my dogs love to play catch, we have a ton of toys and balls (and treats, if allowed) for your dog to feel at home. I work from home so every two-four hours I will take a break and either take the dogs for a long walk or take them to the dog run behind our loft to run. If your dog doesn't like to walk, I have a great doggie stroller that I'm known to use. Our household is full of fun and love and we hope to make your little loved one feel as comfortable as possible while you're away. Between myself, my two dogs and my boyfriend, your dog is walking into a fun, loving home where they are apart of the family.
