Pet care experience
Hi! My name is A.J., I grew up with two energetic Boxers called Churchill and Gem. I am up early in the mornings and enjoy the city energy as it wakes up, which is perfect for long walks. We live in Park Slope, only three blocks away from the park! We have an enclosed stone backyard, it is private. Our building is very pet-friendly. I live with my husband, who grew up with dachshunds so we care for his mom’s dog frequently. I prefer to do long walks daytimes (usually about an hour) and I’m now free on weekends. I play classical music at home and also play the piano. I work in the wine industry, I am a Master Sommelier. don’t hesitate to ask me anything!

A.J. did an amazing job taking care of Oskar for us while we went out of town. It's obvious that A.J. cares greatly about the health and happiness of the pets he's caring for. Great communication and he's very prepared and organized - highly recommend!
Bogey has the best time staying with A.J.!! This was his second stay and he started running towards A.J.’s home once he realized we were on his block. Bogey was happy, relaxed and tired when we picked him up yesterday - we feel so comfortable leaving Bogey for a weekend knowing he is in good hands with A.J.
Bogey had the best time staying with A.J., and immediately warmed up to him! A.J. is experienced with handling high energy pups like Bogey- he worked on his leash walking and took Bogey to the park for lots of exercise. A.J. is very responsive and we appreciated all of the updates and photos each day.

We moved to Park Slope in March 2019, we are only a couple of blocks away from the park, which is perfect for long leisure walks or runs. If your dog likes to go off leash on the park in the AM, perfect!

Availability
I have a full-time job, and since the pandemic while I was furloughed I have been caring for pets in the area. I am back to work now, sort of hybrid, and can still take care of pets when my schedule allows it.
