I've been an animal lover my whole life. I've volunteered at a local shelter, Helping Hounds, for almost 2 yrs. so I have walked and played with a huge variety of breeds, temperaments, and ages of dogs. I love them all. I rescued and found homes for over 30 cats and kittens; had them spayed and neutered; and fed feral cats for almost 8 years. My husband and I even paid someone to care for the regulars when we went on vacations, so you can see that I am a dedicated and totally committed animal lover. Along with our own pets, I have taken care of my granddoggies whenever our grown kids are out of town. They usually stay with us at our home. I volunteer teach a high school Social Studies class every weekday morning from 9:10-10:10, but am available before and after class for dog walking, playing, and general care ( i.e.feeding, cleaning up after). I'm responsible, conscientious, and most of all a total mush when it comes to dogs & kitties! We don't have any dogs right now at home, just the occasional granddoggies.
