I have always had pets growing up, I've had numerous mid-sized dogs; Fannie a German Shepherd, Maggie a Malamute Wolf, and currently Lila a little golden mutt. While I've had dogs I have learned to care for them as puppies, middle age, and old age. I've also learned to respect each pets individual personalities, and I have encouraged them to behave using positive methods. I am someone with a lot of energy and love to do things, I love to take dogs on walks/hikes (especially at the Rio Grande, Sandias, Jemez, etc.) I love to play with dogs in the yard or parks (fetch, running, agility) and I love to also cuddle with them at night while watching a movie. Please let me know how I can care for your fuzzy friends, show me what to do and I'll do it. I know your furry friends are special to you, as are my pets to me, I'll treat them like they are my own. I am currently a freelance costumer, so I can plan my schedule around your pets routine; feeding, walks, play, etc. I also don't mind to transport your dog in my car to take it out to fun outdoors places. I always keep them on a leash, bring a lot of water, and snacks if I take your dog out. My brother has worked for The Blue Cross Animal Clinic on Carlisle, I have good connections there. He was the Head Vet Assistant and he has taught me a little about medicating pets, animal anatomy, and pet related diseases. I've had cats (Comet, Precious, and Shadow), Hamsters (Brown sugar), a mouse (Sweetie), Chickens, Ducks (Lucky and Wishbone), Goats, a Hedgehog (Ichabod), and an African Grey Parrot (Kiveu). I have also worked as a zoo keeper at a small privately owned collection some of the animals were Boas, a Kinkaju, Sugar Gliders, Skink, Coatimundi, Camens, Bush Baby, Monitors, etc. I have also worked around Horses, learning to ride, care for, and train them. I have had a life time's worth of positive experiences in loving pets and animals. I hope I can take care your pets and spread that love. It would be an honor to do so.
