Pet care experience
I have lived with dogs and cats since the day I was born and one of my first and most memorable jobs was as an Animal Care Technician at Heritage Humane Society in Williamsburg, VA. I worked with animals from all walks of life but had a certain affinity working with dogs and animals with anxiety and reactivity, namely helping them to become comfortable with human engagement. I spent a year and half pet sitting a rescue pit bull in New York City and thrived off of the challenges and rewards she provided me. I am a very active person and love to go on walks, especially with a furry companion. I work teaching flying trapeze so my hours vary from day to day and allow me to have time when others likely would not.

Ailsa was FANTASTIC with our two dogs. Her experience from working with different dogs at shelters was a huge plus and trustworthiness can't be emphasized enough. We have two shelter Pits and she was an excellent pack leader (: Although it's always tough to leave our dogs with someone new, after our initial meet-up we knew our dogs would be in great hands. Awesome!

I love going on long walks through whatever the closest park is. I walk at a brisk pace and try to keep pets entertained while we adventure. If a dog seems under-stimulated on a walk, I will bring along a toy and/or some training treats to keep them engaged,

I am currently a stay-at-home homemaker so have plenty of time to take on caring for furry friends. I enjoy getting out to meet new friends and go one plenty of walks!
