I am a veterinary technician working in shelter med, I majored in Psychology in school and was a pre-vet student for 2 years. I currently own 3 cats and a pittie mix all rescued and have owned many dogs and other animals when growing up and was a member of 4-H as a child. I'm extremely interested in animal behavior which is basically the best of both worlds for me. I spent two years at an animal hospital in Warren where I worked in the kennel/boarding area. We provided doggie daycare and I truly loved all of the dogs. My grandfather used to run a veterinary clinic before moving to Maine and rehabilitating wildlife, he taught me a lot about how to care for animals. I enjoy building personal relationships with dogs and love meeting new dogs on campus(especially when their owners are surprised their dogs love me enough to bring me a branch). I currently own 2 cats as well as a mixed breed dog and had four dogs growing up. I will take so many pictures of your dog(s) for you, it's honestly one of my favorite things to do. I have experience with getting even the most stubborn of dogs(and cats) to take their pills, and know how to give insulin to those who are diabetic. I am capable of assisting elderly dogs with limited mobility with moving around and always have lots of love and care to give.
