I imagine most Rover sitters love dogs, have grown up with one, and long to have one of their own. Ahin is among these dog loving folk. She is prone to gushing about a dog that walks in our direction. She can describe the personality of a dog with great detail. She prefers dog encounters over human encounters. She follows several facebook pages dedicated to dogs and indulges in the comment section saying things like “God, I love this dog” or “Whatta good doggo.” She sighs a lot saying “… I wish I had a dog.” But what really sets Ahin apart from other Rover sitters is her deep appreciation for the development and nurturing of all pets. I’ve seen her foster infant kittens into their adolescence and she was sensitive the each kittens’ individuals needs and quirks. She worked closely with the foster agency to regulate their diets and medical treatments. She tended to them every 2-3 hours to bottle feed them and stimulate their genitals so they could urinate and poop. She was losing sleep because she had to wake up in the middle of the night twice to do this. The bottom line is — Ahin is tremendously hardworking and patient and she will love your dog with everything. You’ll be happy you hired her.
