Hello! My name is Afton! I am an animal lover and have had dogs and cats my whole life so I have been through all stages of their life. My fiance, Tyler also helps out with all of the Rover dogs we have had come stay and he also has a soft spot for animals and helping making them comfortable in a new space. We joined Rover to do something with our free time and do something we both enjoy. We are caring and passionate with animals and have a lot of experience with all sorts of breeds big and small. We share 2 dogs together who love playing and meeting our guests!

I am a very active person so I take my husky and goldendoodle for lots of walks and runs. We also play fetch and they stay busy with puzzle toys, kongs, getting belly scratches, and getting their beauty rest. I would make sure your animal gets exercise and lots of attention like mine do! **Note for weather: We will only go for walks when safe to do so for your pets and for us. If the temperature is under 10°, if the roads are too icy, or the temperature is over 80 we may not go for a walk or walks will be shortened. Please be assured we will still make sure to have multiple breaks outside for fun on these days! Thank you for your understanding!

If you decide to board or do doggy day care services, I would ask that they have had no prior issues with other animals and are fully house trained. I have a husky and goldendoodle who are both friendly and would want to do a meet and greet to make sure they would play together well. My dogs love to play! I also have a cat so would want to make sure that I only board dogs that are cat friendly.
A typical day
If we get the pleasure of spending time with your fur baby, we would give them a walk, play with some toys and make sure they have food and water per your instruction. They would get lots of love and attention while you enjoy your time away!

I currently work from home Monday through Friday until 2:30 pm and have some availability on weekends which will free up more into the winter. Since I work from home, I would be able to board as I will be home all day to supervise and make sure they get play time and many potty breaks.
