Pet care experience
I love all animals! I have 11 years of rescue experience - including working with all sizes, ages and types of dogs and cats, walking dogs, supervising playgroups, working with aggressive dogs and caring for special needs animals. I have also worked as a dog trainer, using positive reinforcement and building relationships. I believe animals are here with us, not for us. They are family members! My personal animals are very well socialized, and enjoy making new human and animal friends! Every animal I care for is treated like one of my own, with respect and love. I'm very flexible, and I'm happy to work with whatever needs your pet may have. I can't wait to meet your babies! Please reach out if you have any questions at all.

I have known Afton for several years. She has watched and cared for my six animals on numerous occasions. She is very trustworthy, and has so much experience with many different types of animals. She has a background in animal rescue, and training as a dog trainer. She is very knowledgeable about animal behavior, and can handle many different behavior issues. If I have an animal question, she is the first person I call.
Afton is hands down the best animal person and person/person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She has not only impeccably trained my shy, nervous pup into the wonderful dog she is today, but also house sat with my dogs and cat on numerous occasions. She is so compassionate and patient with my animals. They’re always well loved while I’m away. Highly recommend.
