Just a little bit about me: I am a very active person. I have traveled extensively, inside and outside the country, and love any form of outdoor adventuring. I grew up with Golden Retrievers and a few other critters. My little guy is a ten year old Dachshund mix and is a big cuddler, which is where he get his name "Teddy Bear"! Though he is only 15 pounds, he has always lived with big dogs, so seems to believe he is one as well. For family and friends, I am always the number one for dog sitting. I am an extremely active person, so I am always up for long walks and "play time". I have been a Kennel Manager, so I am comfortable with dogs of any age, size, activity level and if your dog requires any medications. I formerly did in homecare for several years for couple with two dogs and four cats. My dog joined me on overnights and loved visiting his good friends! I understand some dogs can adapt to any environment and others are more homebodies. If your dog is more comfortable staying in his/her home while you are away, I am more than happy to stay with them. If you are more comfortable for with me staying at your home, I am happy to do so, but I request that Teddy be allowed to come along. If your dog would like to join my household, there is young boxer who also lives with me. He is a high energy one, but loves everyone and love meeting new canines.
