Medical student - flexible schedule

Pet care experience

I am a third year medical student with a semi-flexible schedule. I live alone, in a neighborhood near the Loma Linda Medical Center - keeps me on time for rotations and still flexible to my pup’s needs! I’ve been a sitter for several years before I became a Rover sitter and still sit for friends and family in need. These days I do a lot more house sitting and have an excellent reputation among those who have entrusted me with their home and pups: families tell me I am reliable, communicative, and transparent. Their dogs find me warm, playful, and inviting! Families I sit for can tell that I love (their) dogs! I have experience dog sitting both small and large breeds - from Pitbull Mastiffs and Rough Collies to Shih Tzus and Schnoodles - and can ensure that your dog will never want for attention. It is therapy to spend time with such energetic creatures with their own, unique personalities! I enjoy physical activity - so I am also perfect for breeds that are active. I also have lived with and owned cats throughout my life, and currently am aunty to several, so I am compatible with the feline disposition as well! If you're looking for an energetic sitter who will treat your pup or cat like her very own bestie (or rather, an entrusted niece or nephew) and keep your home and pups safe from burglars while you're away, I am your girl! I also am dog-mom to my very own pup now! She’s a sweetheart and extremely well socialized with people and other dogs.

I am so happy with how Adrienne took care of my pup. She would send frequent videos, photos, and updates on my pup, that I greatly appreciated. She gave him great company and he was loved during his stay.

Very responsive and easy to work with! Answered all my questions promptly and was really great! She asked a lot of questions about Pippa and seemed to enjoy hanging with our pup. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a house sit with a pet. Look forward to working with her again.

Adrienne was great to work with! She replied to my request right away and worked with me to arrange drop off and pick up times that fit both our schedules. When I dropped my dog off, his tail was wagging his whole body, he loves staying at her place!

Information Adrienne G. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know if he has allergies, specific gastrointestinal needs, or any quirks. Also let me know if your dog is a shelter dog that may have anxiety or specific stimuli he/she finds anxiety-inducing. I have experience sitting dogs with varying medical conditions (endocrine, anxiety, old age, etc.) who require medication.

A typical day

I typically go running at some point during the day and enjoy breeds that love activity. I’m also fine with dogs sharing personal space like my room and bed as I tend to have a more companionable, affectionate style of interacting with dogs.
