Pet care experience
I am a health care worker. I work 12 hour shifts every Monday & Wednesday. I work every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday - long days. I am unavailable those days because it would not be fair to the animal. I own my condo, so I can have pets sleep over. I even live near the condo association dog walk area! My family has always had pets. We have had fish, guinea pigs, cats, dogs and even a lizard! I love animals and have volunteered with pet adoptions, and worked part-time at a pet boarding facility one summer when I was in college. I love to play with dogs and cats, and to do enrichment activities with them. I can't wait to meet your fur-baby!

Adrienne housesat for us and watched our two 30-40 lb pooches over Labor Day weekend. She did a great job! I am someone who loves to get updates on my fur-babies and Adrienne sent me so many pictures and updates! One of our dogs requires seizure medicine and it was nice to know she had experience with medicating her own senior dogs. She did a wonderful job and we could really tell she loves animals. That of course is the most important quality when looking for a sitter! Will book again!
Adrienne was great with my puppy and she sent updates and multiple pictures every day while we were gone!
I've known Adrienne extremely well from the time she moved into the house next door to ours when Adrienne was only 4 years old. She became great friends with my daughter of the same age and I eventually became her God Mother. I've watched her grow into a caring and responsible young woman who is patient and kind. She has a love for all animals, and has helped her mother foster puppies as well as now helping with the two aging family dogs. You can count on her to be where she says she will be when she says she will be there, and that's a nice thing to know when you leave your fur babies under someone else's care!

I would need to know the dogs daily and nightly routines, including food, medicine, walking and any known issues the dog might have. For example, my dogs are afraid of loud noises like fireworks. So when it is likely that they will hear such, I leave the television on for them to mask the sound. I will need to know if the dog is crate-trained, housebroken, and leash trained.
A typical day
I will walk dogs in their own neighborhood because I think that is safer than transporting the dogs to a park. During the heat of the summer, I would want to walk them earlier or later in the day to save their paws (and me) from the heat. I love to throw tennis balls and let a dog fetch to its hearts content. I can play tug of war. I like work on training with small treats to keep the dog's mind busy. Dogs that stay with me will get daily walks, by the lake to look at ducks, and good snuggle time!
