I have grown up around dogs and other animals. My mom owns a sweet Doberman and I have stayed overnight to watch and care for him. I lived with a family who owns 3 dogs, 4 cats, and a parakeet. I have had a small beagle-dachshund mix and so I have plenty of experience grooming, cutting nails, brushing teeth, walking/jogging etc. She was a rescue and did not get along with other animals so I do have experience with "only child" dogs. I am taking two classes next semester and I work 36 hours per week so my schedule is flexible. I live an active lifestyle and I enjoy being outside. I prefer to be outside early in the day when the weather is hot.
