Pet care experience
I have experience caring for and assisting with training my German Shepherd who we had as a guard dog. During his last year, when he was struggling from cancer, I cared for him every day, monitoring most of the day and sometimes having to lift him during walks and bathroom breaks. While it's heartbreaking, I have a lot of experience caring for sick and old dogs as well. I've cared for my family and family friends' dogs while they were on vacations, both staying at their houses and dropping in for walks, feeding, and play time. I currently have a 10 month old German Shepherd pup back home that's a 90 pound ball of energy. I have a special place in my heart for dogs. While they offer unconditional love, there's nothing more gratifying than seeing them feel loved as well!

Adi is the best dog sitter ever! She watched my 11yr old 5lb Morkie, Mika, while I was away in Las Vegas for 4 days, and I'm convinced that my dog had a better time than me! Adi went the extra mile by taking her to work with her during the day and kept me updated with adorable pictures while I was gone so I never felt separated from my pup. She's so down to earth, and you can tell loves animals. I highly recommend her as a reliable, wonderful dog sitter. :)
Adi has a magnetic disposition with dogs. As a two-time german shepherd owner, she is no stranger to difficult or unruly animals. She is experienced and well educated on proper animal husbandry, and has taken care of sick and elderly dogs. She shows compassion and patience with animals that have specific needs, and is a trustworthy caretaker that I would feel comfortable leaving my pets with. She loves animals and will be a great resource for pet owners.

I would like to know how the dog interacts with other people, kids, or dogs should we encounter any during our walks or play time. I'd also like to know what their favorite games and snacks are to make sure each dog gets the attention they want and deserve. It's also really helpful to know what types of allergies or injuries a dog has, including what makes them timid or causes them to be uneasy so that we can avoid those situations/know how to handle them should they arise. I have no breed preference as I adore all dogs!
A typical day
We will go on walks mostly to parks for some energetic playtime. With the owner's permission, I'd love to take them on a beach stroll if the weather permits. Beach walks would be on leash only. I love playing chase or even a simple game of fetch, anything to get your pup moving and happy. Then back home the dog would get water immediately and fed (if it's feeding time) followed by some down time and relaxing belly rubs.
