I have a soft spot for animals. About 2 years ago, a friend and I rescued a lot of animals from a neglectful household that included many birds, a dog, a few rabbits, some cats, a few reptiles. We went around finding homes for them and I ended up taking a greenwinged macaw. The toughest of them all (with no prior experience). The bird was hostile and very defensive. We bonded eventually (I have videos to prove this wonderful bond). I've been told it's more challenging to care for a macaw than a dog as they're a lot more intelligent. The macaw is with a friend of mine in Louisiana right now who is a lot more experienced with birds, plus it gives Tofee a chance to finally mate. I had him under my care for a year. His diet was bad when I got him. But he's healthier than ever now. I've cared for and watched over my friends' dogs often and still do when needed or if I'm just around. You can never give a dog too much love. The love is endless. I am in the process of getting a dog of my own soon (searching for the right one). I hope to be able to exceed expectations through this app and build a reputable profile.
