Pet care experience
A lifelong animal lover, I will love your pets just like you do! I can drop by your place for a doggie visit, so your dogs can be let outside mid-day, and I can take them out for a good long walk, let them sniff around, handle their business, burn a few calories. I can give snacks, or feed as instructed, even brush or snuggle with dogs and with kitties too, in your home or mine! I even pick up poop and clean litter boxes. ;) I volunteer with Stray Hearts and have completed Foster training, and walk dogs occasionally. I can board dogs at my place too, I'm located north of Questa in the small "town" of Cerro, close to the Wild Rivers Rio Grande del Norte National Monument.

Adelita was WONDERFUL with my kitty!! It was a last minute booking and wasn’t able to meet her before I left for my trip. She made sure to call me to make sure I was comfortable, and sent videos and photos each time she checked on her!! I came home to a very happy kitty :)
Adelita was incredible. Our puppy absolutely adored her right from the start, and came back a happy boy. She went above and beyond, took him to the park, and let him play with her dogs at home. She worked on training with him and gave him treats to reward him. She was willing to pick our puppy up and drop him back off with us, making our plans for the day so much easier. She also took the sweetest pictures of our puppy so we could see how his day went. Highly recommend!!!!
We boarded our dogs with Adelita for 3 1/2 days. She was great with them and kept us up to date on how they were doing. The dogs had 4 acres of fenced-in yard to roam around in and Adelita's dogs kept them company as well. It was a dog's paradise! The dogs had a wonderful time and were blissfully tired when they came home. I can highly recommend boarding your dogs with Adelita.

My family and I have 4 acres of fenced in yard, (gate will have to be closed at driveway for dogs to roam freely) but I have a small front courtyard which I can keep small dogs inside, with artificial grass for them to potty on and an extra large crate to use when they're ready to nap indoors. My family and I have a new baby puppy- Chocolate Lab named Bella, a super friendly 4-year old yellow lab named Gracie who just loves to play, and one 9-yr old tabby cat who is happy minding his own business: sleeping.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs. For example, my dog has a paw injury, so I sew her little booties to help her heal faster. I can clean wounds, administer oral medication, and know basic first aid.
A typical day
We can go for walks in my backyard, which opens up to BLM land, or down the paved road I live on (not much traffic in Cerro). I can do basic obedience training with them, and play however they like to play.

Availability
I'm flexible, schedule is usually wide open except for a few appointments or photo shoots. I retired from the Army in 2016, basically now a stay at home mom to a teenage boy, who also loves pets, and part time online student, (completing Bachelors in the next 3 months) and normally just volunteer with my church, Salvation Army, VFW Post 9516 and PTA.
