Small & Medium Doggie Destination!

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Adeline :) I’ve been a Rover sitter since 2016. I started in Arizona before moving to Brooklyn, and now I’m in Bayonne. I have a 16 year old senior Puggle named Rambo who is pretty mellow and just wants to eat and cuddle. Rambo occasionally gets seizures so I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pet with a stranger if they have a medical condition. Please let me know if you have any concerns about your pet's medical condition and I will do my best to address them. Here are a few reasons why you should let me watch your furkids: - 25 + years experience with dogs - 8 years of experience on Rover - Smoke-free home - Only dogs 40 lbs or smaller around your pet - Administer injections - Administer oral medication (Rambo takes Phenobarbital 2x/day for seizures) - Experience with senior dogs and their health issues (CHF, cataracts, arthritis, slipped discs) - Consistent feeding times to your pets schedule - Bathing & Grooming as needed - Daily pictures and updates I work fully remote as a Data Scientist and will be home with the dogs all day. They go out for potty breaks 4-5x per day and I only take 2 clients max (total of 3 dogs including Rambo). Meet and greets are mandatory for first time clients. This entails you and your pet coming over to meet me and Rambo. Thanks for reading this far! Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Adeline is the best. Whenever our dog Wesley stays with her we feel like he is getting a vacation of his own. He goes to the park, plays with other dogs and even came back smelling amazing after she gave him a bath! We don't know what we would do without her. We love having her as our Rover go-to!

Adeline was wonderful with our dog Archie! She always responded promptly and since she also has a senior dog she was understanding of their issues. We got updates everyday and it was clear that Archie got attached to her quickly- not something he does with everyone! When our return flight was delayed, she was so accommodating about the extending Archie's stay. We're so grateful to find such an incredible sitter.

In short, the absolute best! Cannot recommend her enough! Was our first time handing off to a dog sitter, and Adeline was incredible. A true dog lover, sent us plenty of pics, lots of exercise and play, even came back with some new tricks she learned! We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our pup was in the best hands. 5 stars all the way. Just superb.

Safety, trust & environment

Pets have mostly free reign once they’re in the house. They eat and drink in the kitchen, but are welcome to all areas of the house. I don’t allow any on the bed (including Rambo) but they usually hang out on the couch. I have several gates I can use to separate pets if necessary.

Home

Lives in a house
Does not have a yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog
Children 0-5 years old
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Information Adeline S. would like to know about your pet

Please provide detailed instructions for you pet including feeding times and quantities. Also include any medications and medical conditions about your pet. I don't have any breed preferences as long as the dog is not known to have aggressive behavior and weighs 40 lbs or less.

A typical day

A typical day starts with breakfast and a walk, usually between 7-8am. Afterwards the dogs hang around me for companionship while I work - they are not left alone in a separate room. I give them snacks/meals and another potty break around lunch. After work I take them on a walk to get some exercise/ play fetch. Have dinner. Then relax in the evening. Before bedtime they are taken outside again for one last potty break usually around 10pm.
