I'm new to Rover but have been caring for dogs my whole life. Growing up with several dogs (cleo - yellow lab; bella - labradoodle; winnie - schnauzer/terrier mix; lucy - terrier mix), I've become a pro at cultivating a comfortable, safe, and playful environment for pups big and small, old and young. After staying with my parents in Massachusetts for the past few months (carrying for their newly adopted terrier mix, Lucy) I'm back in my Brooklyn apartment and feeling the canine withdrawal. I'm a recent college graduate and am therefore home 100% of the time, enabling me to take your precious pup on walks as frequently as needed. My apartment has a small, fenced yard, perfect for quick bathroom runs, but I am also located within a 5 minute walk to several lovely parks (including the Herbert Von King Dog Park). I'm patient and don't mind cleaning up messes - but am also apt at reinforcing any training the dog may have received. I'm also a skilled photographer - so if you need photos for your dogs instagram - I GOT YOU!

Adele is a spectacular dogsitter, that anyone should entrust with the care of their furry friend/child. She is very responsive. We contacted Adele very last minute, yet she graciously responded and agreed to sit Drago for a couple hours the following day. She makes made our dog feel comfortable. Drago is usually skeptical of new people, but he snuggled up to Adele right away. She is also very flexible. I think anyone looking for a kind and considerate sitter should look no further than Adele!

Adele is wonderful with all types of dogs including more timid or shy ones. We recently adopted a rescue, 3 years old, and Adele has been an invaluable asset in fostering a safe and fun environment for our family's new addition. She feeds/walks/grooms and provides love and care for our Lucy.
Throughout my time knowing Adele she has showcased terrific care for dogs. She is as caring, considerate, and as patient toward her family’s dog (Lucy) as she has been with my dog (Cody). I would recommend Adele for any dog sitting needs, as I know her to be reliable, communicative, and responsible.

On the other hand, if your dog gets along with other dogs, I'd love to take them to the local dog park, or even facilitate a puppy playdate. Things I'd like to know about your dog: - Does your dog have any training/knowledge of commands you'd like me to reinforce? - Does your dog get along with other pups? - How often does your dog need to use the bathroom? - How does your dog respond to new people?
A typical day
I'm within walking distance to Herbert Von King Park and Prospect Park, which both have lovely dog parks and a surplus of space to play fetch, run around, and release all that dog energy.
