Pet care experience
I never had dogs growing up but I always knew I had to have one. When I first moved away to Pittsburgh on my own, my very first "adult purchase" was rescuing my schnauzer! And then I rescued another a few years later 😂 My dogs have since passed but I still enjoy taking care of pets! I love both dogs and cats but respect their boundaries! I have trained with a local dog training company so I am experienced in commands and play, and will work with any training methods you have put in place with your pet! I am also experienced in administering medicine in many different ways. For potential boarding clients - I currently live in an apartment so I don’t have a yard but we will walk and get outside A LOT! I also have friends with dogs so if your dog likes to be socialized, I can always schedule a playdate for them!

Adele was great! Looked like my dog Rue had a great time with her and she was very accommodating for a relatively long stay!
Such a great care taker. My I sn’t great with other dogs and has to take a supplement with her breakfast and Adele was beyond helpful and amazing. Adele handled my pup’s anxiety with ease and kindness. I forgot the supplement at home and Adele went to the store and picked it up for her. It was so great to know that our pup was in such caring hands. Thanks Adele!!!
Adele was wonderful with Mandy. She gave her plenty of walks which Mandy loves. I could tell that she was well taken care of because Mandy was very calm and comfortable when we picked her up.
Adele is beyond excellent with my two dogs. We have a 7 year old and a 1 year old and she is great with both of them. She has done everything for me from pet sitting to stopping by for mid afternoon walks and play sessions. (she throws a mean Frisbee) She loves on my babies and they love on her right back. She is very dependable and always does what she promises.

I would like to know any medical history and how he/she deals with being around other dogs and other people. I'd also like to know how they deal with children as a walk in the neighborhood may result in passing neighborhood children along the way. No real breed preference.
A typical day
We will walk around the Lawrenceville neighborhood and venture down to the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. If they are well trained, we can even go to some stores like Home Depot or the pet store to walk around.

Availability
I currently work for myself so I set my schedule. As long as I know where I am to be a day or two in advance then I am good to set my own day. I prefer morning and day time walks over evenings but can be flexible with whatever you need.
