Hi and welcome to Downtown Happy - a home away from home for your furry family members. We have been dog parents for the past 21 years and would love to have small dogs hang around with our Poppy, a super gentle and friendly toy poodle.

Mousse had a great time! Adele was fantastic. She sent constant updates, and Mousse loved his visit!
Adele treated Lucas like her own doggy. During his 2 weeks with Adele, we received daily updates on his activities with photos as well as videos. We were amused by the new tricks Adele taught Lucas; always looking forward to Adele’s daily updates. From the pictures we can tell Lucas was having a whale of a time! We highly recommend Adele without any hesitation. Thank you Adele, Adam and Poppy for taking such good care of Lucas.
Adele and Adam were incredible dog sitters for our boy, Riley. They were very communicative and responsive, and also frequently updated us on Riley's status throughout a long boarding period. I truly felt that Riley was being taken care of by caring and responsible dog lovers. Both Adele and Adam understand dog behavior and ensured Riley's stay was as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend Adele for any and all dog sitting needs and would ask for her help watching Riley again!
Adele and Adam are exceptionally amazing people and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay for Coco. They looked after him liked he’s one of their own. They were very accommodating of Coco’s needs and respected all the rules for his food and medications. I received daily photo and video updates and the way they cared for him put my mind to ease.I can’t thank them enough for taking such good care of Coco. I highly recommend and definitely look forward to leave Coco with them in the future!

Please note we are only able to take in small breed adult dogs (adult dog weighing less then 20lbs). We are not able to care for puppies (less then 1 year old). Please also note the minimum 7-night booking requirement for first time guests. It usually takes a couple of days at least for a dog to settle into a new place. A meet & greet is required before booking for the first time to make sure everyone is happy with the arrangement. Thank you for your understanding!

Availability
We live in an apartment with a large balcony and we are 1 block away from the sea wall. Each Rover day includes at least 1 short walk in the morning and 1 long walk in the afternoon in the neighbourhood/on the seawall/in Stanley Park plus plenty of playtime at home with several breaks outside. We are also able to provide 24x7 supervision (Poppy's dad works from home) and transportation to a vet in case of an emergency. Our dog guest will share home made treats with Poppy. These treats are made with organic pasture raised human food grade organ meats from the Big Bear Ranch in Horsefly BC.
