Hi there, I’m Addy! Long time animal lover and NC native. I have been caring for dogs and cats for 8+ years. I recently stepped away from my mobile veterinary assistant position in the hopes of pursing Rover more full time. I worked as a vet assistant for 5 years leaning the ins and outs of animal care and behavior of all ages. I have a passion for connecting with both clients and their pets, and want to create lasting relationships while providing quality care for your family members as if they were my own. Addy did a wonderful job taking care of our cats!
Addy was AMAZING. She stayed in contact with me, sent me cute picture updates, and kindly agreed to stay another night when the airline cancelled my flight home a few hours before takeoff. She truly came through in a moment of stress/panic, and I’m so thankful that my babies were happy and healthy when I got home.
Addy was an amazing sitter! I got tons of pictures and updates while I was away and came home to my house just like I left it. I would highly recommend her! We will definitely use Addy in the future.
Addy did such an incredible job the 4 days she watched Poz! She asked to meet Poz ahead of time, something I appreciated because he is a more timid dog. She was so patient with Poz especially on the first night where he was having some separation anxiety so she slept on the couch with him! I received several updates and pictures throughout the weekend as well. When I picked up Poz, I could tell he was very comfortable with her (which isn’t necessary an easy task). I definitely plan on using her in the future!!

Are they house broken, crate trained? Do they have any anxiety issues (behavioral/situational) that I should be aware of? How long can they wait between potty breaks? What are there energy levels like? I truly love all dogs and cats of all sizes and shapes! I appreciate the variety of personalities and quirks that each individual pet can have, similar to us humans, and want to know everything about your pet to make a visit as smooth and rewarding as possible.
A typical day
I love to stimulate both dogs and cats physically and mentally. Walking is one of my favorite things to do and I would love to check out your neighborhood but am also happy to cuddle on the couch if that’s what they prefer!
