Pet care experience
I grew up owning dogs of all shapes and sizes, from chihuahuas to german shepherds. As I got older I became interested in training dogs and began training my family and friends' dogs as well. From leash manners, to basic obedience, to service work. I also have experience administering vaccines to my own animals, as well as caring for special needs animals, one of my previous dogs suffered from epilepsy and needed daily medication and constant supervision. I have many years of experience working with all different types of animals, however you know your pet best! You know your pet as an individual, and I know animals, and both sides are very important to ensure quality care!

Addison was wonderful during her drop-ins with our cat! Our cat is not the friendliest, but Addison was patient and slowly earned her trust. And I greatly appreciated all the photos and detailed updates on how each visit went! I will definitely be using Addison again.
Addison has been doing home visits for our pup for just over a week. Normally I would wait longer to write a review but Addison has been such a gift to our family I am writing this now. From day one of connecting with Addison we have experience thoughtful and regular communication. Addison is always on time and contacts us right away with any updates or concerns so we can work together to make visits the best they can be. Please notify me ahead of time of any allergies, behaviors, or special needs important to make sure your dog is being cared for properly. I do have cats, chickens, and other dogs, so if your dog is not ok with any of those animals please let me know!
A typical day
Dogs need both physical and mental stimulation, and the latter is frequently overlooked and underestimated! I live within walking distance to a park where we would have plenty of room to play fetch, as well as a backyard big enough for smaller games of fetch. I have on hand plenty of puzzle toys for mental stimulation, and have many other brain games suited for all different types of dogs! I'm also sure to include your dogs breed in the types of brain games we play to ensure your individual dogs needs are being fulfilled.

Availability
I currently work Friday-Sunday as a veterinary assistant, so almost my entire week is open! Monday-Thursday I'm available all day, some Fridays I may available until about 4 pm.
