Hello! My name is Addison and I am a bilingual teacher. I will happily care for dogs and/or cats. I am available for boarding, drop-in visits, or pet sitting. I have had both cats and dogs of all sizes and I currently have two rescue cats. I have rescued and rehabilitated dogs and cats with behavioral and health challenges. They are now thriving! I am gentle and calm with animals, allowing them time to feel comfortable. I love being outside and will happily bring your dog (or dogs) along. As a trustworthy public school teacher, you can leave your pet in my care with confidence! During the summer I am not teaching so I will have additional availability and flexibility for those dates (June to August).

Addison was amazing. She house sat for us on the weekend and took incredible care of our baby Ember. Addison looked over our house as if it was her own! Our pup just had her last vaccines and was having some reactions to them and Addison was able to administer her medicine for us and keep us updated on how she was doing! We returned to a super happy puppy and am thankful Addison was available to look after Ember, we would highly recommend her! Thank you so much!

When boarding in my own home, I am able to spend most of the day at home to supervise and tend to your dog’s needs. When staying in your home, I treat your space with respect and aim to maximize the amount of time I spend with your pet. Since I am off for the summer, this is easy!

For boarding requests, dogs must be kitty-friendly as I have 2 rescue cats. I also have a 15 lb dog who loves other dogs. They will never be left alone together without supervision.
A typical day
I am an avid hiker and will happily take your dog on a hike! During the summer I walk early in the morning or late in the evening to ensure that the pup’s paws are comfortable. I love the trails at Walnut Creek park.
