Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Addi and I have loved animals since I can remember. I am currently a vet student at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine where I am working towards my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine! I have 10+ years of in-field experience with animals including small, large, exotic, all kinds! I also have the skills to help with medical needs including medication administration, injections, administering fluids, nail trims, you name it. I have had many pets of my own which I have cared for, and training experience with my own dog. I am available part-time, I have my own car, and will respond in a timely manner. I am willing to help with any need from daily feeding tasks, to walking, to medical needs. I would be honored to help you with any animal needs and I am open to many different job requirements. Addi was absolutely perfect at giving our diabetic cat, Wylie, the twice daily insulin shots he needed. I use a wheelchair and am limited in my movements. Usually, my husband takes care of Wylie’s medical needs, but he went out of state and we needed someone to administer our cat’s injections. Addi is an Ohio State vet student and is familiar with caring for animals. She came to our house twice daily, always right on time, and gave Wylie his injections. She even noticed when his water bowl was low and refilled it for me. If we ever need cat care again, I can assure you that we’ll contact Addison!
Addi was beyond excellent as a caregiver to our two precious cats. She followed all our directions to a “T” and provided daily updates on eating habits, water, anything that seemed off with behavior, play time updates, and snuggle time updates. One of our cats is quite fearful and from pictures and updates we can tell that she quickly became acclimated to Addi and enjoyed spending time with her (which is unusual)! Having a careful, detail-oriented, and loving caregiver like Addi makes it possible to travel without having to worry about your animals feeling lonely or anxious.

A typical day
I will take your dogs on walks wherever they enjoy the most! If they love a walk around the neighborhood or to go to a certain park, I will do whatever makes them feel the most comfortable and make sure they don't miss out on any daily routines. I will provide fun enrichment activities for them to their own level of comfort including walks, runs, fetch, frisbee, tug-of-war, training activities, and many more!
