Hi! I’m Addie, a Decatur native, who also spent a good portion of my life in the mountains in Northeast Georgia near Helen. I am vaccinated and wear a mask as required. I moved back down to Decatur in 2012 and have been a city mouse ever since. I feel I have the best of both worlds! Growing up, I had dogs, cats & horses up until about 3 years ago. I had to say goodbye to my dog, Motown, who was with me for 15 years. I miss him dearly. I have had experience in all aspects of caring for pets. From puppies to seniors, healthy to sick, I’ve done and seen it all. My friend calls me The Dog Whisperer. I sometimes would rather be around pets than people. I have house sat for quite a few friends for long periods of time throughout the years & taken care of their pets at the same time. I do have kids, a 14 yr old son, who is also a pet lover & 4.5 year old twin boys who would sometimes be with me when I pet sit. I have been told I am warm, kind, adventurous, patient and respectful. After 23 years in healthcare, 10 in the Operating Room as a Surgical Tech, I am able to follow complex instructions and make on the spot decisions and prioritize in case of emergency. I believe it also helped hone my skill of being able to talk to anyone! I am also a plant lover, a music aficionado and can get along with all walks of life! Let’s get started, I’m ready to meet my new best furry friends!
