I have access to walking trails, near-by dog parks, in addition to secure side streets. I have found many dogs enjoy playing fetch, obedience games, hide and treat games, and obstacle courses in a fenced-in yard. My neighbor's senior dogs enjoy slow leisure walks. A calming leisure activity would include petting or brushing your dog.
