Pet care experience
I love dogs. No matter what breed or gender, I find myself drawn to them. I wanted to be a pet sitter for that reason, because I cherish the time that I get to spend with dogs. The hardest part is when their time with me is up. I enjoy the responsibility of taking care of dogs and the constant companionship that comes as a result. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to devote my full attention to your dog. I am an actor and comedian. I enjoy going to see movies, plays, improv and comedy shows. I also love going to the beach and hanging out at the pool, which are always more fun with a canine companion! Since I grew up with Golden Retrievers, I am most familiar with them. However, whenever I am sitting for a new dog, I always make sure to do my research on the breed. I have had experience as a volunteer at an animal shelter. I worked at "Orphans of the Storm" in Riverwoods, IL. When I was there, I would take dogs on walks, bring them to retirement homes, and help showcase them at events in order to drum up interest and get them adopted. The hardest part about that job was fighting the urge to bring them all home with me!

Adam did an excellent job with my fur nugget and went well above and beyond what I asked! He took him to the park and around the neighborhood a couple of the days even, refilled his water bowls, and even reset the iPad for him to have some tv. He would extremely communicative about when he arrived and sending me videos of the walk and asking in advance about taking him anywhere or doing anything beyond a walk. I would highly recommend and definitely will be using again!
I recently had an emergency stay in the hospital. I needed someone to care for my dog very quickly. Adam was one of the first to respond and I'm glad I chose him My stay in the hospital was less stressful because I knew that my dog was being taken care of by a capable and loving person. Adam sent me many pictures and videos that showed that my dog was comfortable and being taken care of in a safe environment. I am so thankful that my dog was with Adam. She looks forward to another stay with him in the future. I would highly recommend Adam to anyone .
Adam took great care of our dog, Shirley. He sent us daily pics and videos, took her to the dog park and kept her safe. Would recommend him and use him again.
Adam has taken care of our golden retriever many times over the last couple of years and he is outstanding. He is extremely reliable and responsible, and our dog adores him. His love for dogs is palpable, and we highly recommend him to all of our friends. We have complete peace of mind when we leave our dog with Adam!

I love all breeds of dog and do not have any preferences or exclusions. When I take on a new canine client I like to know a lot about them, such as daily routines, training cues, special needs (medical, social, etc), preferred walking routes and places to avoid, socialization, etc.
A typical day
I live in an apartment which pretty spacious, and pet friendly, of course! There is definitely enough room for my dogs to walk around and get comfortable. I have no problem letting dogs on my couch, so long as they are house-trained. I also have a large bean bag-like chair, which many dogs love to snuggle and sleep on. My neighborhood is great as well. THe apartment complex has a courtyard, which is great to walk in, especially if we just want to take a quick nighttime stroll. The area is extremely pet friendly, and also residential. I am sure they will enjoy the fact that there are lots of grassy areas to walk around in. There is also a park only 10 minutes away, which is great! And Runyon Canyon is close as well! I have a very flexible schedule, so I am able to be home throughout the day. Your dog and I would go on walks, explore different parts of the neighborhood, and even go to the dog park if that's alright with you. At night, we will chill out on my couch, watch a movie, and have a very one-sided debate about Game of Thrones or something.
