Availability
My wife works from home, so one or both of us will always be home. We usually walk our dog 1-2 times day (in addition to shorter potty breaks) and feed him twice a day (around 9 am and 7 pm). We like to play with Chico in the backyard (fetch and chasing) or play tug of war when we’re inside. On weekends, we don’t leave our dog by himself more than 4-5 hours max. If you trust us with your fur baby, we will accommodate whatever schedule your dog is on.

We don’t have a fenced backyard, but we have woods behind us and a neighbor’s fence to the left of us that make it semi-private. If your dog doesn’t have strong recall, we will make sure to keep him/her on a leash when in the yard. Our house is mostly hardwood floors with several big area rugs. Dogs are allowed on the couches.

A typical day
We have an unfenced, but private backyard. In our neighborhood, there are a couple of nearby schools and parks where we take our dog to play and run. We can also play tug of war and fetch in the backyard.

Pet care experience
My wife and I are the owners of an almost 3 year old corgi. We worked with a trainer when he was a puppy and learned techniques on how to teach dogs desired behavior/commands. Since then, we have taught our dog important commands like “sit”, “stay”, “leave it”, and “ring the bell” (for when he needs to go to the bathroom 😅). He also learned fun, semi-useless tricks like “bang”, “spin”, "roll-over", and more! 😎. I had a couple dogs growing up that were well trained too.

Adam and Maria were amazing with my dog over the weekend! They were so attentive, made sure he felt comfortable, and kept me updated the whole time I was away. I could tell he was in great hands and getting lots of love. I’d happily have them watch him again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring sitters.
Adam and Maria were so great with Hugo! We had our other booked sitter cancel with short notice due to a personal reason and Adam and Maria welcomed Hugo with open arms. They were very thoughtful with him and we really appreciated their care.
Adam and Maria are amazing caretakers and loving pet owners. Their dog Chico is extremely well trained! I would 100% trust them with my dog. Highly recommended!
