You may recognize me from my acting role in House of Bones on the SyFy channel, but I’m probably more famous to my two amazing dogs Britney, a Lab mix, and Willow, a Siberian Husky, which is fine by me since they are the center of my universe. My fiance doesn’t seem to mind since he’s at work most of the time, but whenever he’s home, we love to spend our free time with our fur babies either relaxing on the couch or going for leisurely walks around the neighborhood. Our house is filled with laughter, music, and fun––always. I’m an artistic individual with many interests, but more than anything, I love being around lots of animals, especially dogs. I was born and raised in Louisiana and grew up caring for all types of animals and have been told that I have a natural talent for taking care of others. I value creativity and empathy above all other qualities, and it’d bring me so much joy to provide a safe and positive environment for your beloved pup. Britney and Willow are super-friendly, sweet, kind dogs and they really enjoy playmates, so we’d love to host your pup. I’m also totally open to providing dog-walking and daycare needs. I’m currently in school to teach creative writing, so I’m often home reading books and drafting stories and my schedule is very flexible. I’m also a huge music fan and a lover of the outdoors, so I try to get outside as much as possible. Since moving to Colorado, I’m constantly blown away by the breadth and scope of our natural environment. My creativity is often nurtured by having Britney and Willow at my side, and I’d love to add more furry friends into the mix. What I appreciate most about dogs are their capacity to love unconditionally and their fierce loyalty––I feel like I learn so much just by being in their company. Dogs are innocent and loving beings that deserve to be protected and admired. I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, including Siberian Huskies, Labs, Pitbulls, Chihuahuas, Rat Terriers, Weenie dogs, German Shepherds, Miniature Schnauzers, and mixed breeds dogs. I will attend to every dog as an individual and make sure all of their specific needs are met.
