Pet Sitting Champion!

Pet care experience

I work for Rover and another large Pet Care Service App. I 've worked for an independent Pet Care Service, Nyc. I would love to start my own Pet Care Service Nyc. I'm certified for Dog First Aid and CPR through Pro Pet Hero. I'm an active member of Pet Sit USA. I'm insured through Pro Pet Associates. I'm devoted to volunteer walking at BARC Shelter in Brooklyn at least twice a month. I grew up in a house full of animal lovers. My younger brother did some incredible work for an Animal Shelter in Chicago. My older brother is raising my 7-month-old nephew alongside his Labrador Retriever Kaiser. My parents have had 2 dogs and 2 cats in their house since my 8th birthday. Snickers the cat was the best birthday present of all time!. When my Mom's in New York, she'll remind me of the backyard football game where I was inches away from a Saquon Barkley-esque touchdown run, and Penny the Poodle tackled me from behind. (Devastating my aspirations to turn Pro:)) I started Pet Sitting for my parents at 18. They nor I took this responsibility lightly. My Father had to teach me how to give insulin injections to our diabetic Bouchon Molly. There were eyedrops and pills for Penny's allergies. Plus two rambunctious male cats. My parents traveled often. I cherish the time I had with those animals. When I look back at the animals I've owned, loved, mixed emotions set in. I think grateful is the best way to describe it. I'll pet-sit for anyone's dog at any time. Behavioral issues aren't a problem cause I've dealt with that before. I don't take my responsibility lightly. How could I? What you're really giving me is your trust. Your animals are so important to you, cause I know that important isn't a good enough word to describe what my animals were to me. I'm trained, I'm primed, I'm ready. Put me in the game, Coach!

Adam has always loved Dogs and Cat. We have always had several running around our house, including both dogs and cats, most often two of each. Adam was always their best friend and they always loved Adam more than anyone else. They would always sleep with him and hang out with him when he was home. We always knew that we could leave the animals with Adam when we went out of town because we knew we had nothing to worry about. One of our dogs, Molly, had diabetes and Adam was our only kid that would give her the insulin that she had to get a couple times a day. Again, we knew that we could count on Adam to take excellent care of Molly along with our other dog and cats. Including when we would go out of town, we never had to worry about Molly getting the care and extra love she required. We have had small, medium and large dogs, and Adam treated them all with true love and respect. Adam would never let a dog or cat be in danger and if he saw one that needed help, he would be the first person to be there to assist them. You can always trust Adam with any of your pets. Adam has also had extended stays at Dog owners homes when they have been out of town for work or vacation and were always very happy with the results. You can count on Adam - you tell him when and where and he will be there.

Adam is our regular dog walker, and he does a fantastic job. He’s very attentive to our frenchies needs and always gives the best updates as to how the walk when. Very dependable - great with dogs.

I have no problem recommending Adam as a dog sitter for Rover.com. He is responsible, loving, caring and a fine young man. He has always loved animals and will treat your pet as if he is one of his own. He is reliable and when you meet him you will understand why I have given him high marks in my recommendation. You will not be sorry if you hire him to take care of your dog.

I grew up seeing Adam’s love and instinctual understanding of doggy behaviors. I know that he would treat every dog in his care with kindness, compassion, and when necessary, firmness, because I have seen him with animals of all sorts, both family dogs and others. Adam would treat every animal in his care with this same love!

Information Adam M. would like to know about your pet

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: - Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? - What’s your preferred method of communication? - Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? - Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? - Is your dog spayed/neutered? - Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? - What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? - What’s the best way to spoil your pup?

A typical day

There is really no shortage of things that we can do together! I love heading to dog parks, as it’s always fun to meet new friends and get some energy out together. I love exploring the city, so we can make sure to have fun together getting out and discovering new stuff if your pup prefers to spend more time flying solo. I always keep an eye out for a park or big patch of grass, as there’s just nothing like getting some off-leash time and running around together!
