I have always had dogs. They have all been strays or shelter adoptions. I have helped birth 3 litters of kittens as a child, or my cat could have died. I have had dogs in apartments and in houses. I currently only have 1 dog and 2 cats. My yard is approximately 1/5 of an acre and fully fenced in. Plenty of room to throw a ball or frisbee. My dog, Peg who is 90 pounds, is spayed and goes to the dog park at least once a week. I want to start dog sitting to make a little extra money and to give Peg some more company. She goes to the park at least once a week and has never had any problems with the other dogs. The only problem is trying to get her to leave. If I am not at the house, to run to the store, my wife would be home. Depending on the weather, we could go to the dog park or a hike through McMullen Park. Bringing water and snacks of course.
